Caring for Your Wooden Bed
Your luxurious wooden bed is handcrafted from meticulously chosen timber sourced sustainably from around the world. Each piece is unique, and over time, its surface or color may evolve.
Protecting Your Wooden Bed
Your bed is safeguarded with four coats of lacquer and a layer of wax. To prevent warping and splitting, maintain a room temperature of 17-19°C and keep the bed away from direct heat sources. Avoid bleaching by protecting the bed from direct sunlight.
Cleaning Your Wooden Bed
Avoid using silicone waxes, lemon oil, and oil-based polishes. Instead, use a high-quality beeswax to protect your bed during the first 30 days. Between waxings, dust the bed with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Moving the Bed
Before moving the bed, remove the mattress and base system. Do not pull or push the bed from the head or foot end alone. Instead, with one person on each side, hold the frame at the midpoint and carefully lift or slide the bed into its new position.
